it seemed an unresolvable situation but it immediately provoked an irresistable interest and a profound passion filled my veins.
My hands itched with the desire to rebuild a 1947 vehicle….
After some talk and a couple of beers we decided to try to put this wonderful piece of history on the road.
Practically the head gasket was rotten and two years of water had filtered through the cylinders
Fascinated by the simplicity of the mechanics of those times and the lure of a V8 with 5.7 lt… well, the desire to drive her and experience how they travelled in ’47 stimulated my search for pieces and solutions. Success!! You can find everthing in the US for these oldtimers.
